
Karin HOFERT graduated in Architecture at Barcelona School of Architecture ETSAB in 1986, and since 1987 teaches Architectural Design in this School. From 2004 to 2009 she was co-director and teacher of a UPC postgraduate course on Interior Design. From 2008 until 2014 she has been Vice-Dean in charge of the International Relations at ETSAB.
She has been invited as visiting lecturer to several universities in Europe, Southamerica, Australia and Asia.
Since 1995 she has built up and directed a good number of international workshops and seminars, included an international conference. She also has taught and been jury member at her own and at several foreign workshops.
Her professional activity in the last years has focused the refurbishment of private housing. In former times she got awards in several design competitions on public space and public buildings.

KARIN HOFERT
Arch. Andrea Cammarata, Ph.D, graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 1993 with specialization in building restoration.
Ph.D. in urban planning and in representation of architecture at University of Engineering of Brescia (Italy).
Grant research from 1999 to 2003 at Architecture and Plannig Dept. of Politecnico di Milano.
Graduated technical assistant, tutor and collaborator from 1993 to 1998 at Politecnico di Milano.
Adjunct professor from 1998 to 2015 for a total of 45 institutional academicals class in the field of representation.
Expert and professor of BIM.
In almost 20 years of activity and collaboration with Politecnico di Milano participate in numerous academicals and European research (such as WINDS, MACE, PoliADA, etc.) in the fields of representation, innovative design tools for architecture and urbanism, technological innovation and in organization and fruition of knowledge.

ANDREA CAMMARATA
SANDRO ROLLA
Sandro Rolla began working as Architect in Milan in 1993 dealing with urban architectural design. He set up ARS architects, a studio which is keen to promote and expand cultural commitment focusing on architecture and public education. The issues of housing, school, building, public space and landscape are the focal points on which ARS focuses its energies.
SR studied Architecture at the University of Genoa and graduated under Giancarlo De Carlo. In 1992 he was in Ahmedabad, India, where he worked at Sangath Studio with Balkrishna V. Doshi on social housing settlements and cultural complex. He took part at ILA&UD, “International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design”, with Don Lyndon and at the International Workshop “Urban material, open/built space, urban language” with G. Descombes and A. Leveille.
SR was teaching at Academy of Architecture in Switzerland with H. Tesar, A. Galfetti, M. Desvigne, E. Battisti, S. Crotti and M. Botta. At the same time he taught housing design at “Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design”, ISAD in Milan.
SR is currently Adjunct Professor of architectural and urban design at Milan Polytechnic and one of the tutor of the international workshop "OC_Open City_Summer School".

BLAGOJA BAJKOVSKI
After a degree in Architecture he started working as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje on the subjects 'Design of Public Buildings' and 'Design of Residential Buildings'. In parallel he has worked on a several projects for residential buildings that have been realised in Skopje. In 2014 he gained a Master degree with Merit in Architectural and Urban Design at Politecnico di Milano, discussing the thesis 'Building as a topographical form, total theatre in Berlin'. From 2013 is engaged as a teaching assistant for the subject 'Multi-scale design studio' from Prof. Lluis Vives and Prof. Jun Ho Chen at Politecnico di Milano, Piacenza.

MASSIMO GALUZZI
Massimo Galuzzi, architect, graduated with distinction at Politecnico di Milano.
Since 2005 he has the Professional qualification c/o Milan Architects Register.
Most of his work is on Public Design: project-architect for Campus Brianteo (Uni-MIb, 2007), for College Guest-houses (Uni-MIb, 2008), for the new UC glass-houses (Uni-Mib, 2008, competition – 1st Prize). Project architect and executive chief-architect for Lombardy Regional-Council (2009).
Currently he is mainly addressing the office onto landscape-designs. His work focus Architectural and Urban Composition themes. Mention of the Cuban National Architects Union (UNAICC) in 1999, since 2001 he is enlisted at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at Politecnico di Milano and since 2010 he is Adjunct Professor in the same college. He also is involved in international workshops.
Author of many issues about Landscape and Urbanscape. Responsible for the restoration of several ship-plans, as: M/N “Caronte” for Caronte & Tourist Spa, and the Royal Navy Type-12’s “Penelope”, Her Majesty Ship, for the National Maritime Museum of Greenwich, UK.

RICCARDO GENTA
Riccardo Genta (Pavia 01/07/1970), architect, graduated at the Politecnico di Milano with prof. arch. Remo Dorigati. He got an Erasmus scholarship for (E.T.S.A. Madrid) where he studied with profs. G. Ruiz Cabrero, J. Maroto, J. Bellosillo, J. Frechilla and A. Campo Baeza.
He has participated at three international design workshops:
Taller de mejoramiento urbano “Un mejoramiento posible” (Santo Domingo – Republica Dominicana, 1993)
“Un’area dismessa: il caso Palazzo Esposizioni - Fiera a Pavia”, (Pavia, 1995)
“Urban renewal and town culture” s (Pavia, 1996)
Responsible of the Youth Comission OAPPC Pavia.
From 1998 onwards he works as free architect in his own office.

ARUNJYOTI HAZARIKA
Currently he is working as architect and living in Milan, Italy. Recently he has graduated in PhD in architecture and urban design from (DASTU) department of architecture and urban studies, Politecnico di Milano His focus of research was ‘How cities can be resilient during disaster situation’, titled Edges in flux between_ WATER | CITY | TERRITORY: re-thinking the concepts of urban design in the background of global climate change and population explosion. During his PhD. session, 2011-12 he worked with Prof. Sandro Rolla as a tutor to conduct the course: Architecture and Urban Design of edg,. at Politecnico di Milano, Piacenza Campus. He is also involved in numerous international architectural competitions, conferences and published papers on discourse related to landscape and urban design. In 2013 he participated at an academic conference and workshop in New York hosted by New York Institute of Technology, focusing on revitalization of Red Hook: a disintegrated urban space due to social and economic factors.
Before coming to Italy in 2009, he has been working in New Zealand with late Gerald Melling for building low cost housing units using timber construction. He is involved with Tsunami housing project in Sri Lanka in 2008, where he worked with local architects building 150 housing units to relocate disaster-affected people. Professionally in Milan he was part of a team for building office and industrial space for Alstom (French Multinational), which is recently inaugurated and occupied to perform various activities in 2014.
Currently he is a part of a design team for Intesa Sanpaolo bank pavilion, which is under construction for Milan expo 2015.

MARCO TORRI
Arch. Marco Torri, Adjunct Professor of Building Physics, A.B.C. Department Architecture, Building Enviroment and Construction Engineering.
Degree in Architecture with a thesis entitled "The Light pollution of the night sky". PROTEA LAB member of the Politecnico di Milano. Expert in research IFC / BIM SACERT energy consultant. Expert in BIM and energy simulation. Lecturer in MASTER Ridef. Energy Consultant in designing New Campus Bocconi, Milan Expo 2015 and Sanctuary Notre Dame de Lourdes (FR). Holder of Architecture Studio. Designer and experienced light designer of historic building.

MADDALENA TRECCANI
From 2001 to 2007 Maddalena Treccani studied at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Switzerland, where she graduated.
Sept. 2007 she joined the Italian Architectural Association, and the Architects and Engineers Association of Ticino, Switzerland.
2012 she got qualifications as Acustic Technician and as Building Energies Certifier.
2012-13 she has been Assistant teacher at Politecnico di Milano.
From 2008 onwards Maddalena Treccani has been working in several studios. She has developed an extens range of projects, mainly on interior design.
“My biggest love is interior architecture. I love diamond tiles, flea markets and blog. I love travelling with huge bags to full in and to learn things. I surprise myself to find new nice places and beautifull addresses that I try to keep secret( it never ever happens). I love to take pictures and everything is coloured. I do not like to talk about myself.”

FILIPPO RAVERA
Filippo Ravera ,architect, was born in Piacenza on 18/12/1986.
2013 he graduated at Politecnico di Milano Master degree with honors.
2014 inclusion at the Architects Association of Piacenza.
